Former Livonia First Lady Janet Bennett, wife of the late Mayor Robert Bennett, passed away Sunday, September 29th. Janet and Robert Bennett were longtime volunteers across our community, leading efforts that supported Greenmead, the Civic Center Library and the Livonia Symphony Orchestra. In recognition of their lifetime of work, Robert and Janet Bennett were awarded Livonia First Citizen honors.
