Patrons no longer need to wear a mask inside the library. Masks are available for your use at all locations if you choose to wear one.

Alfred Noble Library Closed

Out of an abundance of caution and in order to safeguard the health of patrons and employees, the Alfred Noble Library, 32901 Plymouth Road, was closed today due to water damage and the presence of elevated levels of one type of mold, Penicillium/Aspergillus group. Former Livonia First Lady Janet Bennett, wife of the late Mayor Robert Bennett, passed away Sunday, September 29th. Libraries, book publishers and authors have enjoyed a mutually beneficial relationship since the invention of movable type and, well, libraries.
