Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library supports the Livonia Public Libraries by:

• purchasing circulation materials
• sponsoring cultural events and programs for children and adults
• enlarging public support, understanding and use of the library

We raise funds through:

• Memberships
• Used Book Sales
• Friends Used Bookstore
• Monetary Donations

Become a Member and/or a Volunteer

Members receive our Newsletter and email notifications of upcoming events, such as book sales and programs we sponsor.  Members, and teachers with current I.D., can also shop our Used Book Sale presale night. Annual membership dues:

• Individual $10.00
• Family $15.00
• Patron $50.00
• Other Amount

Complete this form to become a member. The completed form with payment can be submitted as follows:

• The Friends Used Bookstore (cash/check)
• The Livonia Civic Center Library (check)
• At the Used Book Sale (cash/check/credit card)
• Mail (address is located on the form)

If you are interested in volunteer opportunities with the Friends, you can indicate how you would like to contribute on the membership form. Our volunteers process book and A/V donations, support the used book sales and staff the Friends Bookstore.
