Tweens Program: Grades 5-7
Tweens will have their own online tracking program and may attend Tween Tuesday events and join our Tween Book Talks.
Teen Program: Grades 8-12
Read books, attend programs, win prizes! Every five hours of reading earns an entry into a drawing for one of our eight book baskets (books and goodies in a variety of genres). Attend the Library’s teen programs to earn extra drawing entries! Read 15 hours by July 31 to earn an invitation to our Final Party.
Adult Program
Summer reading fun isn’t just for kids! Registered adults who track their reading progress earn entries into a drawing for some great prizes. Past prizes have included appliances, electronics, and shopping and dining gift cards. Readers who attend the library’s adult programs will earn additional drawing entries. Discover Michigan mysteries; learn the history of macaroni and cheese; explore the traditions and beliefs of the Old Order Amish community; sample beef egg rolls with Ming Louie; and more!
